Airline Invitational

The 17th Annual Airline Invitational was a great success! 16 teams and over 300 runners! Thank you to all who participated. Also, thank you to all who helped make this a successful event! We can't wait for next year!

17th Annual Airline Invitational Cross Country Meet

Entrance Fee:  $100 per school ($10 for individuals) by October 6th

***Late fees $120 ($20 for individuals)

All fees due before races!

Where: Airline Community School, Aurora

When: TUESDAY, October 24, 2023    Event begins at 3:30pm

Course Records:

Boys- Will Meyer 10:18 (2022)

Girls- Ruth White 10:53 (2019)

Three Races

Coed Loop Race: 3:30pm  1.35 miles (one loop)

Loop racers should be students that have never run under a 9 minute mile. Coaches should use their discretion when signing runners up for this event. Top 20 girls and top 20 boys will receive ribbons which will be supplied to coaches.

Varsity Races (girls and boys):  Girls- 1.9 miles, starts 10 minutes after completion of Coed Race

        Boys- 1.9 miles, starts 10 minutes after completion of Boys Race

For each varsity race, trophies will be awarded to the top three teams, medals will be awarded to the top ten runners and ribbons will be handed out to the 11th-50th finishers.

Please submit rosters by October 14th (or late fee will be charged) using MileSplit. Rosters must designate gender and Loop or Varsity race.

***Please note that we will again be having our famous Airline concession stand for fans and runners.
